About Me.
Engineering the Future
I'm a Latino mechanical engineer with a passion for building systems that operate at the edge of what's possible, from deployable space telescopes to national intelligence satellites. I'm a recipient of the DoD SMART Scholarship-for-Service (~8% acceptance rate), sponsored by the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
My engineering foundation was built at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC-5500/5470), where I worked on mounting systems for satellite subsystems and optimized gear trains for deployable telescopes. This summer I'm continuing that trajectory at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where I'll be obtaining my Secret-level security clearance with a Top-Secret/SCI process to follow.
Engineering and entrepreneurship are not separate pursuits for me. I've built and won at YHack and the Babson Buildathon, sharpened my venture instincts through STARTMIT and the Babson Generator, and learned from builders in the Y Combinator community.
I'm driven by mission-critical work, continuous learning, and the belief that the most important systems in the world deserve the most thoughtful engineers.
